Description

Ready for Maths is a 3-step activity-based series that develops confidence in the early Mathematics learner:

Step 1: Let's begin - The child is introduced to a mathematical concept;
Step 2: Let's learn - The child uses the mathematical concept he or she learned to solve simple problems;
Step 3: Let's move ahead - The child confidently uses the concept to grasp more complex ideas and to solve more challenging problems.
Within each step, kids are encouraged to count objects, identify numbers, read spelled-out numbers, match numbers with objects, read simple word problems, and more.

In Ready for Maths: Counting Big Numbers, children are asked to review Numbers 1 to 10, count in 10's, and discover numbers in the 20's, 30's, 40's, all the way up to 100. Young mathematics learners gain confidence in identifying the mathematical concepts in real life situations and in the world around them.
